Cabo Pulmo Beach Resort is a small, rustic, romantic getaway village of Palm-thatched bungalows that are located right in front of the National Marine Park of Cabo Pulmo just 60 miles up the Sea of Cortez from Cabo San Lucas on the gulf side. Cabo Pulmo is a quiet village that has no salesmen or trinket sales on the beaches to bother you, no paragliders or noisy jetskis either; it’s against Park Rules. You can walk for miles on the beach and not see anyone at times.
Unlike the tourist areas of Cabo San Lucas and La Paz, Cabo Pulmo is a protected National Marine Park on the Baja Peninsula. This means that it will always be a quaint little village. No matter how much the surrounding areas grow and develop, Cabo Pulmo will remain the same; it is an unspoiled oasis where the desert meets the Sea of Cortez.
What makes Cabo Pulmo the most unique is that we have a well system that surpasses the quality of most of the Baja Peninsula! We pump it right out of a hand-dug well and into 4 – 9,500 gallon containers and then run it down the hill in 4″ lines at about 30-50 psi.
We don’t treat the water unless we need to clear out the lines on occasion. The cost of the water is about half of what you would pay in other areas on the East Cape and it is consistently there for you and your lush gardens.
We are completely off the grid. Meaning that we make our own solar power. Therefore, if we ever have any power outages or excessive wind from hurricanes in the Baja area, Cabo Pulmo will fare the BEST.
When many surrounding areas have troubles with wind and rain, WE DONT. There is much to say of the absorption in the land and the natural runoff areas that have been preserved by not paving or concreting.

Cabo Pulmo is know for its peaceful atmosphere. However the proximity of the other homes make it viable for the owners to get together and enjoy BBQ’s and parties too. Many of the owners are very active and invite others to mountain biking, hiking, scuba diving and snorkeling, bird-watching, surfing, stand up paddling, fishing, playing tennis, get-togethers for backgammon tournaments, and just relaxing and enjoying the weather. Most of the owners come out to

Cabo Pulmo for 3 to 6 months during the winter season. When they’re not in Cabo Pulmo enjoying their home, they either rent it out to visiting tourists or just shut it down until their next visit. There are those too who live in Cabo Pulmo year-round and take their vacations back to homeland or elsewhere.
