The Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. This is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of your PADI Instructor. This course builds on what you’ve learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving.
You’ll hone your skills by completing five adventure dives that introduce you to:
Be the diver everyone wants to follow and make your sense of direction legendary with the PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty course.Finding your way is not a matter of luck! When everyone’s buzzing about a reef or checking out a shipwreck, they’re having a great time – until it’s time to go. Then they turn to you, because as a PADI Underwater Navigator, you know the way back to the boat. Underwater navigation can be challenging, but in the PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty course, you master the challenge. You learn the tools of the trade, including navigation via natural clues and by compass. You learn;• Navigation patterns.
• Compass navigation.
• How to “mark” or relocate a submerged object or position from the surface.
• Underwater map making.
• How to follow irregular courses with the Nav-Finder.
• Dive site relocation.
• How to estimate distance underwater.You put this information into practice during your two open water dives.
After your first few scuba dives, you soon want to explore a bit deeper. There’s something exciting and mysterious about the depth that attracts dives. Experience the mystery and thrill of the deep. Essential training on how to conduct safe, fun deep dives and an opportunity to try out new and exciting dive sites. The fun part about this course is the opportunity to explore the deep. It’s exhilarating.You will learn:
• Experience in planning, organizing and making at least four deep dives under the supervision of your PADI Instructor.
Learn to perfect your buoyancy skills by partaking in this dive. Your Instructor will teach you to better understand your equipment and to learn better diving techniques. You will become the ultimate master of buoyancy and control underwater.
There are thousands of different fish varieties that can be found living around coral reefs. By partaking in the Fish ID dive you will learn how to identify the different families of fish and zone in on your individual identification skills and techniques. Throughout this dive you will also learn how to make accurate estimations of fish size and quantities.
The skills that you will learn during this dive will be beneficial in cases of diving emergancies and will also teach you the best techniques for finding lost items such as a mask or weight belt that you might drop accidentally. Learning search patterns can also be useful across a range of other diving incidents.
Drift diving is a fun way to see large amounts of corals and add an additional thrill to your diving. During drift dives you can potentially cover a lot of ground and therefore learning how to manage these dives will give you the ultimate advantage. Learning the skills involved with drift diving will open up many more doors in the diving world and give you the confidence to dive in areas with stronger currents.
